Running Bad
This past month is by far the worst I've ever ran in poker. I think I've lost every possible way there is to lose a hand.... and then some. I really didnt think it was possible to get your chips in ahead over and over and over , and lose over and over and over again. Makes me sick just thinking about it. After the WSOP im definately going to leave poker alone.

Uneventfull
Everythings been pretty uneventfull since my last post. My odd sleep pattern still continues, maybe even worse. Day is night and night is day. I wake up at 11pm fall asleep at 3pm. Even at those odd hours I suppose I could go find some food, a bar, a game, strip joint etc. I just choose not to.... I dont want to feel like more of degenerate than I already am. So I've been playing a ton of online poker. Early on last week I was running over the 6person sngs on Fulltilt. I was building a nice padded bankroll until 2days ago. Everything that seemed to work for me in the begining, was the reason I kept losing, semi bluffs, betting scare cards stuff like that. I knew I was on tilt but I took one last shot a bigger buy in sng, than I usually take. I went on to win it and my roll was back in tact. I continued to play at my regular buy in and I continued to lose. Couldnt hit a draw or win a race for shit. I played the WSOP freeroll on tilt along with my bro in law. We both went out with Kings. Mine was a little bit worse than his. I lost vs 99. He lost vs. AJ with the Ace of diamonds, hitting the 4th diamond on the river. The bankroll exp team isnt going so well either. Everyone is on a losing streak and were at $240 i believe.
Friday I'll be working the NBC heads up I'll try to gather up some pics.

Ehhh
According to weather we've been having sunny days. Too bad Im not awake to enjoy it. 5pm to 9am........Those are still the normal waking hours for me. Its still a little chilly for my liking. Nothing a light jacket cant take care of. I told a friend from back home its "a little chilly" out here.... He told me to fuck off and that he couldnt open his car doors due to the 15 inches of snow they recieved.
I still have until the end of May before the WSOP starts, which seems like an eternity.

Back In Vegas
I arrived back from Australia less than a week ago. I left Aussie feeling pretty good about the experience. The only downside was I didnt do as much sight seeing as I wanted to, and we did exactly zero work on Bankroll Exerience. Next year I plan on renting and staying for about 2 months January to March.
I managed to get zero sleep on the flight from Melbourne to LA. The upside to that was I had an entire row to myself to relax. I spent the majority of the flight watching inflight movies, checking the flight path, and watching a show called Summer Height High an Aussie based comedy. I first saw the show on my incoming flight down under and thought it was fucking hilarious ,too bad its not shown in the States.
I ended up being awake for something like 30 plus hours before I finally passed out. I fell asleep around 8pm and woke up at midnight. Since then my schedule has been all fucked up, waking up at 530pm and staying up till 7-9 am. Slippers and I managed to rack up enough points on Tilt to qaulify for the Pokernews freeroll which of course we didnt win. We're gonna go ahead and qualify for the next one at the end of the month (Im playing that one).
I played a daily tourny at Sante Fe station I showed up an hour late, and was there for less time than that. I played only two hands the entire time. First hand I picked up 88 min raised from mid position. SB called, flop comes....x K x , he bets out and I fold. He shows AK. Second and last hand min raise from the button. I squeeze and see two black aces from the BB. I go ahead an shove and he calls I table my 2 black aces and he tables 10 9 spades. Spade on the flop..............and the turn...........and of course the river. WELL PLAYED. From there I made my way downtown and played another daily. Coincedently my brother in law was there. I talked him into playing the tourny as well. 30 mintues later he knocked me out of the tourny AJ vs A10.
No more poker for me just alcohol........
Met a highschool buddy at a local bar and had a few drinks. We made our way to another local bar where we met up with more friends. I also caught up with Damo from T6 poker fresh off his final table in SanDiego.
A few hours later.......
Buddy.... Im ready to go.
Me......u want me to drive?
Buddy...naw Im good...
We make our way back home.
1st traffic light.......theres a cop behind us in the left lane
2nd traffic light.......ok he's right behind us...
3rd traffic light........ok ur getting pulled over dude.
Cop was a total dick. My bud went through the whole field test and failed the breathalizer. They hauled him off to the drunk tank.
I passed my test so I was awarded with my first crash course on how to drive a manual........
I did pretty well and only stalled once. Made it back to my car and dropped off the keys to Aunt and let her know what the deal was.

Aussie Millions
Its been a great trip overall. The first half of the month was taken up by the Aussie Millions. I arrived in Melbourne on the 8th of January, and went straight to work for pokernews the next day. During that time I was able to catch up with the same people I worked with during the WSOP and also meet some new ones.
During the tournament my days started off with a 30-40min. tram ride from the suburbs to the city. Then a 10 minute walk from the tram station to the Crown Casino. From there it was usually 12hrs of watching, writing and turning in hands to Change, and Pauly. My skills were a little rusty since the WSOP but after a few hours it was no problem. A few nights Pauly and Change treated me to some pints of Carlton at the Vegas bar.
The final table of the 100k event was probably the highlight of the Aussie Millions for me. The final table was hand for hand so it was pretty intense. While standing with my note pad behind Howard Lederer playing heads up for 1.5 million, I took everything in. Being in a foreign country, watching my good buddy Slippers deal the final table, Pauly and Change hard at work posting every hand, all the railbirds. As I stared at all that cash on the table 2 feet away from me, I wondered how the hell did I end up in Australia doing this? ...................Before I could figure it out next hand.......Anyway Lederer ended up taking it down, which was cool to be a part of.
The night was finished off with Carlton Drought at the Vegas bar. The main event was a breeze and the nights were all a blurr. I'll be making random posts as remember them.

Work, Sushi, and Poker
After 3 long months of work I finally decided to call it quits. Originally I emailed a resignation letter telling them I'd work all the way up to the 31st of December. Two days later I stopped working answering phone calls from the boss man and returned my work van, phone, blackberry, etc....Ive been told thats a fucked up way to leave a job, but the thing is I never wanted to even take the job. The only reason I took it was because they stalked me for like a month and a half, and the WSOP money ran out.
Besides I have bigger things on the dome like my upcoming trip to Melbourne, Aus. Which will be the shit. Any normal sleep schedule I had went out the window like an alcoholic falling off the wagon. The first night I spent celebrating my Sis's birthday at the Cannery playing video backjack while they played the penny slots till like 2am. Now I spend my days rotting my brain with reality TV when I know full well I could be doing something way more productive. After the guilt sets in I realize Id rather be doing this than getting 30 phone calls a day about some dumb shit I have no control over.
The other day I joined a friend at a sushiT bar. My stomach or shits havent been right since. I feel sick just thinking about it.
Thought I might try to take a stab at the daily donkament downtown. Except for the fact that it was cancelled for lack of players. A dealer friend of mine ask me to sit in to get a game going, which I knew was a bad idea $$$ wise but did just for the dealers sake. I had a talk with the floor man about the drop in players comming through. So I thought it was a good chance to ask about a prop gig, may be a promising opp after I return from Aus. That is if nothing comes up for me down there.
Played a ton a freerolls on Tilt with no success. I think Im becoming progressively worse with every hand I play.

WPBT
Last weekend I was very fortunate to be able to attend a fews days of the WPBT, here in Las Vegas. I got outta work around 7pm Thurs. night, and made my way to MGM around 9pm. As I walked through the casino floor to the poker room I was a little nervous / anxious being that this is my first WPBT and Im a newbie to the blogging world. I left a message to Dr. Pauly as I waited for my 1-2 table. 5 minutes after being sat I was excited to see the Doctor spotting me as he walked through the room. From there we strolled over to the bar in the sports book and he introduced me to a slew of well known poker bloggers such as his brother Derek, Maudie, Iggy, Otis, Jen Leo. We had a great time socializing with everyone, I was able to catch up with Change 100, and Mene Gene. A few hours later the Doctor, Change 100, Mene Gene, and my self among other made our way down to the Excalibur where we continued to drink talk about this past years WSOP which we were all a part of, and make o/u bets on the cowboys roping calfs. I finally ended my night busting out at the pai gow table with the same company from the bar. Again big shout out to Dr. Pauly for making an outsider feel welcomed.I look foward to working with you guys down at the Aussie Millions next month
